Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain Meets Omani Finance Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Ties


Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, received Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance of the Sultanate of Oman, in a meeting that highlighted the enduring and robust ties between the two nations. The meeting was attended by Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy.



According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla underscored the strength of the historical ties between Bahrain and Oman, which are supported by the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman. The Deputy Premier also emphasized the ongoing coordination between His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, and His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs in Oman. This coordination is aimed at enhancing economic integration and strategic cooperation, benefiting both countries.



During the meeting, Shaikh Khalid commended Oman’s efforts in financial and economic development and praised the broader progress Oman has achieved across sectors, which reflects its comprehensive development approach. Minister Al Habsi affirmed Oman’s commitment to bolstering ties with Bahrain, noting that the growing cooperation is a testament to the shared vision of both leaderships in advancing common development goals.
