Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met with ‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬°ric Giraud-Telme, the Ambassador of France to Bahrain, along with Anouar Mekkas, the Regional Nuclear and Renewable Energy Adviser.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister stressed that the relationship between Bahrain and France is built on mutual respect and long-term collaboration. He underscored Bahrain’s eagerness to enhance bilateral partnerships, especially in energy diversification and clean technology, to support sustainable development goals and align with national energy and environmental transition plans.
The discussions also focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and sharing expertise in sustainable energy. This collaboration aims to meet environmental and developmental objectives.
The ambassador conveyed France’s interest in expanding cooperation with Bahrain, highlighting the shared strategic priorities in energy innovation and support for climate-related initiatives.
