It also highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s history with pearls, which dates back thousands of years, and its role in shaping the cultural identity of the Kingdom.
Students took part in practical activities such as examining pearls using specialised tools, identifying the differences between natural and cultured pearls, and learning about the historical role of Bahraini divers. They were also introduced to key archaeological sites in the Kingdom linked to the pearl trade.
