Manama:Bapco: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, visited the Bapco refinery, where he conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the employees of Bapco Energies.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Crown Prince was welcomed by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Energies. During his visit, the Crown Prince expressed pride in the dedicated efforts of Shaikh Nasser and all personnel at Bapco Energies, praising their competence and sense of national responsibility.
The Crown Prince highlighted the developmental initiatives and strategic projects undertaken by Bapco Energies, which are pivotal in advancing the energy sector's efficiency and competitiveness. These efforts are seen as critical contributors to the national economy and the Kingdom's comprehensive development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He emphasized that the progress achieved by the energy sector over the years reflects an ambitious vision that recognizes its pivotal role in supporting Bahrain's economic development. During his visit, the Crown Prince met with the Board of Directors and Executive Management of Bapco Energies, expressing pride in the talent present and thanking them for their role in advancing the energy ecosystem. The Crown Prince noted that Bahrain has reached a significant milestone in the energy sector. Since its establishment in 1929, Bapco has played a prominent role in the region's oil and refining sector.
During his visit, he was briefed on the refinery's operations, modernisation programme, and efforts to enhance the security of oil facilities. He also met with Bapco employees, commending them for their competence and dedication under all circumstances.
