Manama: The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) announced the closure of five tourism establishments after identifying violations of laws and regulations governing tourism activities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, taking the necessary administrative measures.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this action is part of BTEA's continuous efforts to regulate the tourism sector, uphold service quality, and ensure adherence to approved standards, thereby reinforcing Bahrain's position as a prominent tourism destination.
The Authority emphasized the ongoing nature of inspection campaigns, conducted in coordination with relevant authorities, to ensure compliance with applicable legislation. They are prepared to take legal action in line with Decree-Law (15) of 1986 on the regulation of tourism and its amendments.
