Manama: The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) concluded its three-day Junior First Aider Program, which provided participants aged nine to 15 with practical first aid and emergency response skills.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the program was organized under the supervision of BRCS's First Aid Committee. It covered essential topics such as first aid principles, management of bleeding and fractures, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), fire prevention, use of fire extinguishers, and safe building evacuation procedures.
During the closing ceremony, Mubarak Khalifa Al Hadi, Secretary General of BRCS, commended the participants' commitment to developing first aid and safety skills. He also presented them with certificates upon completing the program. Additionally, two members of the Islamic Society's Activities Department were recognized for their contribution in producing an educational video on first aid.
BRCS emphasized that the program is part of its ongoing efforts to promote first aid and safety awareness among young people, equipping them with practical skills to effectively respond to emergencies.
