Manama: The Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications announced that the Kingdom of Bahrain is currently experiencing light and variable winds, which have led to increased temperatures and humidity levels.
According to Bahrain News Agency, an official source at the directorate stated that the latest numerical weather model updates indicate the onset of northwesterly winds from September 1 to 3. These winds are expected to be fresh to strong at times, potentially causing blowing dust in certain areas and rougher sea conditions. A noticeable decrease in both humidity and apparent temperatures is also anticipated during this period.
The forecast suggests that the winds will ease from September 4, reverting to light and variable, while humidity levels are projected to rise once more. The directorate has urged the public, particularly seafarers, to exercise caution and to stay informed by following weather bulletins and warnings from official channels and platforms.
