Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,966.84 points, marking an increase of 1.73 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the communication services sector, the financial sector, the material sector, and the real estate sector. Bahrain Islamic Index has also shown an upward trend, closing at 919.03 points, marking an increase of 1.93 points above the previous closing.
According to Bahrain News Agency, results indicated that 153 equity transactions took place with a volume of 756,543 worth BD 428,851. Investors traded mainly in the Non-Bahraini Companies Sector, which represented 50.08% of the total value of securities traded.
