Bahrain Non-Oil Exports of National Origin Reached BD1047 Million in Q4 2025


Manama: Bahrain’s non-oil exports of national origin in the fourth quarter of 2025 reached BD1047 million, as per the latest Foreign Trade report from the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA). The report includes data on trade balance, imports, national origin exports, and re-exports.



According to Bahrain News Agency, non-oil imports increased by 9%, reaching BD1628 million in Q4 2025, compared to BD1491 million for the same period in 2024. The top 10 countries accounted for 70% of the total imports. China was the leading importer to Bahrain with BD250 million, followed by the United Arab Emirates and France.



The top imported product was non-agglomerated iron ores and concentrates, valued at BD148 million, with other aluminum oxide and gold ingots following. Non-oil exports of national origin saw a 5% increase, reaching BD1047 million. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was the largest importer of these exports, followed by the United Arab Emirates and the United States.



Unwrought aluminum alloys were the primary export product, followed by agglomerated iron ores and non-alloyed aluminum wire. Re-exports rose by 7% to BD226 million, with the United Arab Emirates leading, followed by Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong. The top re-exported products included four-wheel drives, gold ingots, and wristwatches made of precious metals.



The trade balance showed a deficit of BD355 million in Q4 2025, in contrast to a BD277 million deficit in Q4 2024.
