Muscat: The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Sultanate of Oman organized the "Entrepreneurs and International Expansion Forum: The Kingdom of Bahrain's Experience as a Model," focusing on the theme "Omani Entrepreneurs' Products to Global Markets." The forum was held under the patronage of Shaikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Riyada), the Bahraini-Omani Businessmen Association, and the Bahrain Export Authority.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, emphasized that the forum reflects the strong ties between Bahrain and Oman, highlighting the ongoing development of cooperation in various sectors under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. The Ambassador reiterated the commitment to bolstering economic and investment collaboration, encouraging private sector and entrepreneurial initiatives to seize opportunities and form new partnerships.
Dr. Al Kaabi noted the forum's role as a platform for sharing expertise in entrepreneurship and SMEs, advocating for best practices to enhance entrepreneurs' skills and facilitate their entry into regional and global markets. He praised Oman's efforts in supporting entrepreneurship, especially acknowledging Riyada's contributions to this sector.
The Ambassador underlined Bahrain's success in supporting exports and aiding businesses in reaching international markets. He mentioned the initiatives by Bahrain Exports to empower businesses, providing them with the necessary tools to connect with opportunities, markets, and potential partners. The importance of continued collaboration and expertise exchange between Bahrain and Oman was stressed to foster entrepreneurial growth and expansion.
Dr. Al Kaabi expressed optimism that the forum would lead to enhanced cooperation in entrepreneurship and export initiatives, fostering joint efforts that enable Bahraini and Omani entrepreneurs to access broader markets. He thanked the organizers and participants for their dedication to the forum's success.
The forum featured four sessions, discussing trade exchanges between Bahrain and Oman, Bahrain's export experiences, promising sectors and market opportunities, and successful import-export practices between the two nations.
