Borås:The Kingdom of Bahrain's national boxing team is actively participating in the King of the Ring 2026 international tournament, which is taking place in Borås, Sweden, from October 30 to November 1. This event sees the participation of hundreds of boxers from across the globe.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain's representation at the tournament includes Jayden Price, who is competing in the junior 57 kg category, and Mohamed Moamen, who is competing in the youth 55 kg category.
This participation aligns with the Bahrain Boxing Federation's strategy to develop national boxers by providing them with exposure to various boxing styles and competitive experience. This approach aims to enhance the boxers' technical and physical readiness for future continental and international competitions.
Rashid Isa Feleyfel, President of the Bahrain Boxing Federation, has expressed his best wishes for the national team's success. He conveyed confidence in their capability to deliver strong performances and achieve positive results in the tournament.
