New York:Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Ambassador Donald Blome, US Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Bahrain, Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah expressed Bahrain's appreciation for its enduring relationship with the United States, highlighting it as a strategic partnership. He praised the consistent support provided by the US in several areas and the robust nature of their bilateral ties.
The meeting focused on exploring further cooperation and coordination to support mutual interests, as well as enhancing regional and international security and stability. Both parties also addressed the current challenges facing the region and emphasized the importance of ongoing diplomatic engagement and consultation at various international forums.
