Manama:Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, has extended his congratulations to Ibrahim Al Tarawneh on his election as Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This congratulatory message coincides with the commencement of Jordan's third ordinary session.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Speaker Al Musallam highlighted the strong and enduring ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Jordan. These ties are reinforced by the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan.
The Speaker also reiterated the Council of Representatives' dedication to furthering bilateral cooperation with Jordan's House of Representatives. This includes supporting joint projects and programmes aimed at achieving mutual objectives and aspirations, as well as enhancing coordination at regional and international parliamentary forums.
Speaker Al Musallam expressed his best wishes for Al Tarawneh's success in serving the nation of Jordan and its citizens.
