Nikkei Index Declines Amid Investor Caution

Tokyo:Japan's Nikkei index dropped 0.79% to 68,413.03 points on Friday, pulling back from a six-week high as investors opted to take profits.According to Bahrain News Agency, the decline was influenced by investor caution regarding interest rates, inflation, and geopolitical risks, despite the index being on track for a 3% weekly gain.In addition, the broader Topix index saw a decrease of 0.57%, settling at 4,108.53 points.
