Brent Crude and US Oil Prices See Modest Increases

Manama:Oil prices experienced a slight uptick on Friday. Brent crude rose by 29 cents, or 0.28%, reaching $102.60 per barrel.

According to Bahrain News Agency, US West Texas Intermediate crude also saw gains, climbing 27 cents, or 0.29%, to $93.14 per barrel.

In the previous session, Brent crude had increased by more than $4, while US crude rose by more than $2. This was following a report that heightened concerns about a worsening global fuel shortage.

Brent crude was projected to end the week with a 1.93% loss, despite having increased by 14% in September. Meanwhile, US crude saw a 4% growth last month.
