Amman: Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation and regional and international issues of mutual interest.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed prospects for expanding economic, trade, investment, and tourism cooperation, building on the strategic partnership established between the two countries in 2015. The discussions aimed at reinforcing the existing framework and seeking new avenues for collaboration in these key sectors.
The two ministers also reviewed regional developments and underscored the importance of enhancing security and stability in the region. Both sides affirmed their countries' commitment to further developing bilateral relations and continuing joint coordination, emphasizing the significance of maintaining strong diplomatic ties to address shared challenges effectively.
