Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, recently visited the Gadeha Junior training camp at Exhibition World Bahrain. The camp is held under the directives of Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Education Minister emphasized the significance of summer programmes and courses for young participants, which offer opportunities for positive and productive use of time. Dr. Juma praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support youth and leverage national capabilities and resources to encourage creativity and excellence.
Dr. Juma acknowledged the efforts of the government, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in providing programmes, resources, and capabilities that support national objectives. These initiatives aim to develop youth skills and create an environment conducive to their excellence.
During his visit, the Education Minister was briefed on the camp's training programmes and field activities designed to enhance participants' physical and mental capabilities. The programmes aim to instil commitment, discipline, cooperation, teamwork, and self-confidence among the youth.
Dr. Juma praised HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad's directives to organise the Gadeha Junior camp, highlighting His Highness's dedication to the comprehensive development of youth. The camp seeks to direct young energies towards capability development and potential discovery, contributing to their futures and that of the Kingdom.
The Education Minister also expressed pride in the role of Brigadier His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Operations, in advancing physical programmes and sporting and social initiatives that enhance Bahraini youth's skills.
Dr. Juma commended the commitment of the young participants, noting their responsibility and determination to benefit physically and personally from the camp. He emphasized that physical education is a core component of the Ministry of Education's system and vital for comprehensive student development.
Finally, Dr. Juma expressed appreciation for the efforts in organising the camp and its programmes, noting the valuable experience provided. He remarked that the high level of participation reflects the camp's success.
