Cairo: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa arrived today in the Arab Republic of Egypt for a significant visit aimed at discussing the close bilateral relations between Bahrain and Egypt. During his visit, His Majesty is scheduled to hold talks with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of Egypt, focusing on the latest regional and international developments that are of mutual interest to both nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HM the King was warmly received upon his arrival by President El Sisi. The visit underscores the strong, historical ties between the two countries and their ongoing cooperation on various diplomatic fronts.
Accompanying HM the King is an official delegation that includes several prominent figures such as HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and National Security Advisor. Other notable members of the delegation include Nabeel bin Yaqoob Al Hamer, Advisor to HM the King for Media Affairs; Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Advisor to HM the King for Diplomatic Affairs; and Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy.
Additional members of the delegation include Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Fadhala, Chief of Royal Protocols; Hamad bin Ali Al Kaabi, Personal Secretary to HM the King; Mohammed bin Bahsain Al Musallam, Head of Follow-up Affairs at the Royal Court; Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau; and Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt.
The discussions between the leaders are expected to further strengthen the partnership between Bahrain and Egypt, as both countries continue to collaborate on addressing regional challenges and advancing common interests.
