Manama: The Ministry of Interior has announced that the Coast Guard is changing the work area of the 3D marine survey project conducted by Bapco Energies within the territorial waters of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This change will take effect starting August 3 and will last for two months, as indicated by the attached map.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Coast Guard has urged all fishermen, seafarers, and marine vessel users to exercise caution when navigating near the project area. They are advised to comply with safe navigation speeds, avoid approaching or interfering with marine survey devices and equipment, and refrain from all types of fishing within the designated work area during the project's duration. Users are also expected to adhere to the designated routes and instructions detailed in the attached map.
The Coast Guard emphasized that following these instructions and guidelines is crucial for ensuring the safety of marine users and the efficient and safe execution of the project works. They have called on everyone involved to cooperate and comply with the issued instructions for the public interest and to preserve maritime safety.
