Naseej Commences Infrastructure Works for Amwaj Avenue Project in Muharraq

Muharraq: Naseej has initiated the infrastructure works for its Amwaj Avenue project at the entrance to the Amwaj Islands in Muharraq Governorate, with key figures such as Bassem bin Yaqoob Al Hamar, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB); Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayyat, Chief Executive of the Urban Planning and Development Authority (UPDA); and Amin Al Arrayed, Chief Executive Officer of Naseej, present at the groundbreaking ceremony.According to Urban Planning and Development Authority, Al Hamar emphasized that the project signifies continued growth in Bahrain's real estate sector and underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in promoting urban development. He assured that the SLRB remains dedicated to supporting developers by streamlining procedures, speeding up transactions, and issuing title deeds to bolster project readiness and the investment environment.Al Khayyat marked the groundbreaking as a significant milestone, indicating the project's move from planning to i mplementation. He reiterated the UPDA's commitment to fostering sustainable urban development through strategic projects and close cooperation with the private sector.Al Arrayed highlighted that the project is one of Naseej's flagship mixed-use developments and aligns with the company's vision of creating integrated and sustainable communities. He acknowledged the support from the UPDA and the SLRB in progressing the project to the implementation phase.The first phase of the project involves constructing roads, utilities, and essential infrastructure. The mixed-use development covers approximately 125,000 square meters and includes 253 residential plots and 27 investment plots at a strategic location at the entrance to the Amwaj Islands.
