Manama: This week's BD 70 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 178%. The bills, with a maturity of 91 days, are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The issue date is set for July 15, with a maturity date of October 14.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the weighted average rate of interest for this issue stands at 5.20%, slightly lower than the 5.22% rate of the previous issue conducted on July 1. The average price for this issue was approximately 98.702%, with the lowest accepted price being 98.695%.
This issuance is identified as No.2129 (ISIN BH000D95E689) of Government Treasury Bills. Following this issue, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills has reached BD 2.110 billion.
