Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,009.72 points, marking a decrease of 4.40 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to the drop in the financial sector and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has also seen a decline, closing at 943.76 points, which is 3.13 points below the previous closing. The results from the market indicated that 102 equity transactions took place, with a trading volume of 5,654,364 and a total worth of BD 1,880,898.
Investors predominantly traded in the consumer discretionary sector, which represented 70.78% of the total value of securities traded on the exchange.
