Manama: Maryam Al Ansari, Undersecretary for National Economy at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, received Varun Chandra, Chief Adviser to the Prime Minister for Business, Investment and Trade of the United Kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Ansari highlighted the longstanding relations and strong strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UK, focusing on their continued development in economic and investment areas. She noted the mutual commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation frameworks and opening new areas of partnership to serve shared interests. Al Ansari emphasized the importance of building on the productive cooperation achieved between the two kingdoms to support sustainable economic growth. Additionally, she pointed out Bahrain's competitive and attractive investment environment and the promising opportunities available across different economic sectors.
The meeting also reviewed topics of mutual interest and discussed means to enhance cooperation in business and investment. It explored opportunities to expand economic partnerships between the public and private sectors in line with shared goals and aspirations.
