Cairo: Dr. Adel Abdulrahman Al Maawda, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee at the Shura Council, and Dr. Ibtisam Mohamed Saleh Al Dallal, a member of the Shura Council's Service Committee and the Arab Parliament's Economic and Financial Affairs Committee, participated in the third session of the Arab Parliament in Cairo.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Maawda and Dr. Al Dallal expressed their approval of the Arab Parliament's statement condemning the Iranian attacks on oil facilities and civilian sites. They emphasized that this stance illustrates the unity of Arab parliaments in opposing actions that threaten the sovereignty, security, and stability of Arab nations. Furthermore, they lauded the Parliament's dedication to safeguarding mutual Arab interests and amplifying the Arab voice in both regional and international arenas through collective positions that bolster the political and diplomatic initiatives of Arab countries.
They highlighted the necessity for Arab parliaments to enhance coordination and continuous consultation. By doing so, they aim to consolidate positions on regional challenges to protect Arab national security, fortify the role of Arab councils and parliaments in fostering stability, uphold Arab causes, and reinforce the principles of cooperation and solidarity among Arab states.
