UAE and UK Discuss Strategic Relations and Cooperation

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), received a telephone call from Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom. The call focused on enhancing the strategic relations between the UAE and the United Kingdom.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the conversation explored ways to boost bilateral cooperation to support mutual interests of the two countries and their citizens. The dialogue included discussions on potential collaborations across various sectors aimed at fostering sustainable development and prosperity.

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasized the strong strategic ties between the UAE and the UK and reiterated a shared commitment to leveraging available opportunities to further strengthen cooperation for the benefit of both nations.

The call also covered regional and international topics of mutual interest, addressing recent developments and efforts to promote security and stability at both regional and international levels.
