Manama: Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, opened the Imam Hussain Medical Clinic in Manama as part of health preparations for Ashoora 1448 AH.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Hassan expressed appreciation for the support given to the health sector by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. She commended the coordination between the Ministry of Interior, ministries, and relevant authorities, and the integrated efforts and procedures aimed at facilitating all requirements to ensure Ashoora's success.
The Health Minister stated that the opening of the Imam Hussain Medical Clinic comes as part of joint coordination and partnership to provide integrated medical services for participants in Ashoora, reflecting the level of readiness and efficiency of medical and nursing teams. She noted that the clinic is equipped with all necessary medical supplies, medicines, and equipment to ensure a rapid response to different cases.
She also praised the medical, nursing, administrative staff, and volunteers working at the clinic for their professional expertise and capabilities in delivering healthcare services to citizens and residents.
For his part, Yusuf bin Saleh Al Saleh, Vice Chairman of the Islamic Endowments Council, highlighted that national efforts to enhance health readiness during Ashoora reflect an advanced model of integration between official and community institutions, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for participants. He mentioned that the opening of the Imam Hussain Medical Clinic represents an important milestone within the supporting services system for Ashoora, and reflects cooperation between health authorities and community institutions, enhancing health preparedness and response for participants.
Al Saleh added that the clinic plays a key role in providing healthcare and emergency medical services, supported by specialised medical and nursing expertise, making it one of the leading community initiatives supporting national efforts in health and safety. He praised the coordination and support provided by the Ministry of Health, government hospitals, and primary healthcare centres, commending the efforts of doctors, nurses, volunteers, and those running the clinic in fulfilling their humanitarian and national role.
Dr. Ijlal Faisal Al Alawi, Chief Executive Officer of Primary Healthcare Centers, stated that the centres have completed their health preparations for Ashoora 1448 AH by providing qualified medical staff and equipping the Imam Hussain Medical Clinic with necessary medical supplies and equipment, ensuring integrated healthcare services and a rapid response to cases requiring medical care. She added that the success of healthcare services during Ashoora reflects the level of integration and coordination between different health entities and supporting partners. She affirmed the commitment of primary healthcare centres to further enhance the quality of preventive and treatment services and provide a healthy environment for participants, ensuring the health and safety of all throughout Ashoora.
