Riyadh: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), participated in the 18th meeting of the Gulf Committee for the Unified Terrorist List of the GCC states, held in Riyadh. The meeting included officials from the ministries of interior and relevant authorities across the GCC countries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Albudaiwi highlighted the directives issued by the GCC Ministers of Interior during their recent meeting in Riyadh, emphasizing the importance of strengthening joint Gulf security efforts. This emphasis comes in response to the security developments in the region.
He recognized the joint efforts and cooperation between the relevant authorities at the Ministries of Interior of the GCC states. Albudaiwi noted the high level of coordination among them, stating that these efforts have contributed to addressing security risks facing the GCC states.
During the meeting, the GCC Secretary General was briefed on the committee's efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination among the relevant authorities in the GCC countries.
