Athens: Heavy rainfall has caused flooding in parts of Greece, leaving at least two people dead. The Greek meteorologist reported that winds of up to 140 kilometres per hour battered the southern Aegean, forcing authorities to suspend ferry services.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Greece's national weather service said the storm system was expected to continue affecting the country on Thursday. The popular tourist islands of Rhodes, Lesbos, and Samos are among the areas anticipated to experience the ongoing impact of these severe weather conditions.
