Bahrain Golf Association Completes Preparations for Asian Youth Games Golf Competitions

Manama: The Bahrain Golf Association has completed all necessary preparations to host the golf competitions for the 3rd Asian Youth Games, which are being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain until October 31.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the golf events are scheduled at the Royal Golf Club from October 23 to 25, featuring athletes from 25 Asian countries. Competitors will partake in both individual and team events across male and female categories. The three-day tournament will include qualifying rounds, culminating in a final round to determine the medalists.

The Association has established comprehensive technical programs and schedules through a dedicated technical committee. This committee is responsible for coordinating training times, match schedules, officiating procedures, and site visits to align local course rules with international regulations. They have also organized technical meetings to be conducted throughout the competition.

Major General Ali bin Saqer Al Nuaimi, President of the Bahrain Golf Association, acknowledged the leadership and guidance of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. His Highness's involvement has been crucial in the event's successful organization. Al Nuaimi also highlighted the extensive medical preparations by the organizing committee, underscoring the Association's commitment to the success of Bahrain's hosting of the Games.

Al Nuaimi praised the skills of Bahraini youth, particularly those in the technical and organizing committees, in managing an international event of this magnitude successfully.

The Bahrain Golf Association's representation in the tournament includes three junior national team players: Abdulrahman Al Muhaizaa, Khaled Mohammed Siddiq, and Yaqoob Yousef Al Majed.
