Bahrain Braces for Hot Weather with Strong Winds

Manama: The Meteorological Directorate has issued a forecast indicating that Bahrain will experience rather hot weather conditions accompanied by rising sand in certain areas, which will become fine overnight.

According to Bahrain News Agency, winds are expected to be northwesterly, blowing at 12 to 17 knots and occasionally reaching 20 to 25 knots before decreasing to 7 to 12 knots overnight. A warning for strong winds has been issued, advising residents and visitors to exercise caution.

The sea state is predicted to vary, with inshore waves reaching 1 to 3 feet and offshore waves ranging from 3 to 6 feet. Temperatures are expected to peak at 39 ºC and drop to a minimum of 25 ºC. Humidity levels are anticipated to be a maximum of 60% and a minimum of 10%.
