Manama: Vatel Bahrain, a leading institution in hospitality education, is currently accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year. Fatema Ali, Director of Studies at Vatel Bahrain, announced that the application window will remain open until September 12th. Prospective students can apply for Bachelor's and MBA programmes in International Hotel Management, which are offered in collaboration with Vatel France. These programmes are designed to prepare graduates for successful careers in the hospitality and tourism sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bachelor's programme in International Hotel Management is recognized at Level 6 on the European Qualifications Framework and aligns with Level 8 on Bahrain's National Qualifications Framework. This programme combines theoretical learning with practical training, providing students with nearly two years of professional experience in leading hotels both in Bahrain and internationally. Students will also study French, equipping them for careers in various hospitality fields such as hotel and resort management, tourism, and event management.
The MBA in International Hotel Management is notable for being the first of its kind in Bahrain. Delivered over 18 months, it aims to provide students with the managerial knowledge and leadership skills required for senior roles in the sector. The curriculum includes subjects like Tourism and Hospitality Economics, Marketing Strategy, Financial Analysis, Human Resources Management, and Hotel Strategy.
Ali highlighted Vatel's achievements, noting that it remains the top hospitality school in France for the fifth year running and ranks 11th globally in hospitality management according to the latest QS rankings. She also mentioned that all Vatel Bahrain graduates have secured job offers before completing their studies, indicating strong demand for qualified professionals in the growing tourism sector.
With limited places available, Ali urged prospective students to submit their applications early to ensure ample time for assessment and admission procedures.
