UAE President Meets Kurdistan Region Prime Minister in Abu Dhabi

Manama: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of the Republic of Iraq. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, was also present at the meeting.According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Prime Minister Barzani discussed the various aspects of relations between the UAE and Iraq, with a focus on the Kurdistan Region. They explored ways to enhance cooperation in a manner that benefits the two peoples and aims to achieve their goals for development and a more prosperous future.The discussions also included an exchange of views on issues and topics of mutual interest. Both leaders emphasized the importance of efforts to strengthen security, stability, and lasting peace in the Middle East for the benefit of all its peoples.
