Transportation Ministers of Bahrain and Germany Discuss Enhanced Cooperation

Berlin: Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with Patrick Schnieder, the Federal Minister for Transport of Germany, on the sidelines of the ILA Berlin Air Show 2026. The meeting focused on exploring ways to boost cooperation between Bahrain and Germany in transportation, infrastructure, and logistics services. Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainees, Bahrain's Ambassador to Germany, was also present during the discussions.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting delved into the potential for exchanging expertise and successful practices to support the development of the transport sector, enhancing its efficiency. The discussions underscored the significance of leveraging modern technologies and innovative solutions to improve transport systems and promote sustainability.
