Jeddah: An official source at Saudi Arabia's Transport General Authority (TGA) said the vessel NCC MASA, owned by a Saudi company, was targeted while sailing in the Red Sea, resulting in minor damage to its hull.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the source stated that the vessel continued its voyage to its destination after its safety and that of all crew members had been fully confirmed.
The official further mentioned that such attacks and targetings violate international laws and norms, which are in place to ensure the safety of commercial vessels and to protect their crews.
