Manama:Fatima bint Jafaar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, and Sara Ahmed Buhiji, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), participated in a tree-planting activity as part of National Tree Week.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative follows the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who designated the third week of October each year as National Tree Week. This event aims to promote tree planting and environmental sustainability across the Kingdom.
The participation of the Minister and the BTEA CEO underscores the government's commitment to environmental initiatives and sustainability efforts in Bahrain.
