Thrilling Races Mark Seventh Race of 2025-2026 Season at Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club

Sakhir: In the presence of His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment and Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) High Committee, the seventh race of the 2025-2026 season unfolded at the REHC racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir, showcasing the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) Cups.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the eight-round race attracted dignitaries, including Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and representatives from NBB, the event's official sponsor. The event drew a substantial audience of equestrian sports enthusiasts who witnessed intense competition, notable results, and some surprises, along with entertainment activities that are a hallmark of the Club's weekly races.

The winners of the NBB Cups were celebrated with various trophies presented by notable figures. His Highness Shaikh Sultan Al Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa received trophies for the third, fifth, and sixth rounds, presented by Usman Ahmed, Isa Maseeh, and Ahmed Al Maskati of NBB, respectively. His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa was awarded the seventh-round trophy by Abdulla bin Hindi, while Yusuf Ahmed presented the eighth-round trophy to Nadia Al Alawi.

Further awards were presented by Abdulaziz Al Ahmed, who awarded the first-round trophy to winning trainer Yousif Taher. Isa Maseeh presented the second-round trophy to assistant trainer Ishaq Murad, and Ali Abdulkarim awarded the fourth-round trophy to winning owner Hadi Al Afoo.
