Manama: The Prime Minister's Office today announced the conclusion of the application process for the seventh edition of the Government Innovation Competition, known as Fikra. This initiative is designed to bolster the role of the national workforce in advancing the government's developmental goals and realizing the Kingdom's aspirations. According to Bahrain News Agency, the application window for Fikra was open from Sunday, 2 November, until Wednesday, 3 December. During this period, applications were submitted by various government entities, and the evaluation committee has now begun the review process. Fikra plays a significant role in promoting a culture of creativity and innovation within the public sector, aligning with national aspirations and Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030. The competition aims to enhance government performance and improve services offered to citizens and residents, contributing to the Kingdom's sustainable development goals.
