Sunni Endowments Council Celebrates Success of First Scientific Competition

Manama: Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, honoured the winners of the inaugural scientific competition organised by the General Directorate of Sunni Endowments. This initiative is part of a broader plan to support and promote Islamic scholarship within the community.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Dr. Al Hajri praised the high academic standards displayed by the participants across various categories of the competition. He emphasized that the initiative plays a crucial role in disseminating sound religious knowledge, promoting moderation, and enhancing engagement with the Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah. The competition successfully attracted participants from different segments of society, highlighting a significant interest in Islamic learning and confirming the initiative's success in fostering constructive academic competition.

Shaikh Dr. Al Hajri expressed his appreciation for the efforts that led to the competition's success. He extended gratitude to the benefactor for their generous support, and to the organising and judging committees for their diligent supervision and evaluation. He also commended all participants for their dedication and commitment to the competition.

The chairman highlighted that the success of the competition's first edition provides a strong foundation for its continuation and expansion in the coming years.
