Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, received His Excellency President General Joseph Aoun of the Lebanese Republic. The meeting took place as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the two leaders held an official session of talks exploring the available opportunities to advance cooperation, partnership, and investment between Oman and Lebanon, particularly in the commercial, industrial, agricultural, and tourism sectors.
In addition to economic discussions, the two sides addressed the political developments in the region. They explored ways to support pathways for security and stability, reflecting a mutual interest in promoting peace and collaboration in the region.
