Strong Winds and Rising Sand Expected in Bahrain

Manama: The Meteorological Directorate has issued a weather forecast for Bahrain, predicting hot conditions with rising sand in certain areas, which is expected to become fine overnight.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the forecast indicates that northwesterly winds will blow at speeds of 12 to 17 knots, occasionally reaching 20 to 25 knots, before decreasing to 7 to 12 knots overnight. Due to the strong winds, a warning has been issued.

The sea state will vary from 1 to 3 feet inshore to 3 to 6 feet offshore. Temperatures are anticipated to reach a maximum of 42ºC during the day and a minimum of 28ºC at night. Humidity levels are expected to range from a maximum of 65% to a minimum of 10%.
