Manama, The external centres affiliated with the General Directorate of Traffic have dealt with a total of 122,176 transactions over the past eight months, ending August 31.
The centres managed to process 15,000 transactions monthly� an average of 764 transactions daily, said Licencing Affairs Officer Captain Salman Raed Al-Mahmoud.
He released the updated figures as he took part in the weekly Radio programme Al-Amn, aired weekly on Radio Bahrain in cooperation with the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture.
He stressed the importance of external centres which streamlined procedures for applicants to finalise their transactions quickly.
The external centres provide a range of services which include the annual registration, renewal of registration, ownership transfer, renewal of licences, payments of fines and other services through the e-Government portal.
