Speaker Receives Social Responsibility Leadership Award

Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, was honored with the Social Responsibility Leadership Award for his significant contributions to national, charitable, and legislative initiatives, as well as his commitment to community and development projects.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the award ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Abdulnabi Salman Ahmed, First Deputy Speaker; Ahmed Abdulwahid Qarata, Second Deputy Speaker; and Khaled Abdullah Al Qoud, Chairman of the Bahrain Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Society, along with other society members.

Speaker Al Musallam emphasized that the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa serves as a guiding national approach for service to the country and its citizens, rooted in strong national values. He also praised the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for fostering a culture of social responsibility through government projects, enhanced community partnerships with the private sector, and values of cooperation and solidarity.

Speaker Al Musallam highlighted that social responsibility is a deeply ingrained value in Bahraini society. This is evident in various initiatives led by individuals and families, as well as private sector projects and civil society programs that support development across different sectors.

The Chairman of the Bahrain CSR Society remarked that the award acknowledges Speaker Al Musallam's leadership in supporting sustainable development projects, enhancing social responsibility, and promoting community partnerships, which are integral to the Kingdom of Bahrain's comprehensive development strategy.
