Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, welcomed Ibrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), to discuss ongoing and future collaborations between the council and the foundation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam expressed his appreciation for the support provided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who serves as the Honorary President of the RHF, to the nation's humanitarian initiatives. He also acknowledged the backing and continuous involvement of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in these efforts.
The Speaker praised His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his leadership and dedication as His Majesty's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the RHF Board of Trustees. Al Musallam highlighted the significance of Shaikh Nasser's contributions in achieving the foundation's goals and enhancing community partnerships through innovative projects and programs that uphold the values of generosity and humanitarian service.
During the meeting, Al Musallam congratulated the RHF on its 25th anniversary, lauding its pioneering initiatives that have bolstered Bahrain's reputation and development in the realm of humanitarian work. Discussions also centered around enhancing cooperation and coordination between the Council of Representatives and the RHF, emphasizing the foundation's efforts in international forums through parliamentary diplomacy.
