Manama:Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, welcomed Ahmed Saad El Din, the First Deputy Speaker of Egypt's House of Representatives and Coordinator of the Arab Parliamentary Union's Temporary Committee on Parliamentary Diplomacy.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Speaker praised the strong and evolving relationship between Bahrain and Egypt. This relationship flourishes under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Al Musallam expressed gratitude for the committee's work in reinforcing Arab parliamentary diplomacy, which aims to unify positions and visions for the benefit of Arab nations and their citizens.
He also recognized Hisham Badawi, Speaker of Egypt's House of Representatives, appreciating his efforts to foster cooperation between the two parliamentary bodies. Al Musallam extended an official invitation to Badawi to visit Bahrain, aiming to enhance collaboration in parliamentary forums.
