Seoul: South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and Brazilian President Luiz In¡cio Lula da Silva have reached an agreement to elevate bilateral ties to a strategic partnership during their summit. The meeting was marked by a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony, signaling a mutual commitment to deepen cooperation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, discussions between the two leaders centered around expanding bilateral cooperation in key areas such as the economy, space, the defense industry, and critical minerals. Both sides also emphasized the importance of practical cooperation and fostering people-to-people exchanges to strengthen their partnership further.
This visit marks President Lula’s first state visit to South Korea in 21 years, highlighting the significance of the renewed engagement between the two nations.
