Manama: The Ministry of Social Development's Equal Opportunities Committee held its regular meeting, chaired by Enas Mohammed Al Majed, Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee reviewed proposed initiatives aimed at strengthening communication and encouraging positive participation among ministry employees. It also deliberated on organising an awareness event in line with Breast Cancer Awareness Month and discussed preparations for celebrating Bahraini Women's Day 2026.
The committee further explored the possibility of conducting an internal assessment to gauge employees' awareness of equal opportunities principles. The results of this assessment are intended to guide the development of future programmes and initiatives.
