Manama:The Ministry of Social Development is set to host the "Our Heritage, Our Glory" exhibition under the theme "Bahraini Creativity with an Authentic Spirit" on October 28-29. The event will take place at the Capital Mall for Bahraini Handicrafts, with participation from Bahraini artisans.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the exhibition aims to support traditional crafts, preserve Bahrain's handicraft heritage, and promote national products. Ziad Adel Darwish, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, emphasized the ministry's dedication to supporting Bahraini artisans by offering platforms such as this exhibition to showcase their creativity and skills.
The exhibition will feature live demonstrations by artisans, highlighting their traditional techniques and a variety of handicrafts that reflect Bahrain's authentic heritage. This initiative is part of the ministry's broader efforts to empower artisans both economically and socially, while also encouraging local production and expanding marketing opportunities for handmade products.
Additionally, the event seeks to raise public awareness of the importance of preserving traditional crafts, contributing to the sustainability of the sector and its role in Bahrain's social and economic development.
