Social Development Minister, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, received here today the Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee at the Shura Council, Redha Ibrahim Munfaredi.
Munfaredi congratulated the minister on his appointment by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to his post, wishing him every success in carrying out his duties.
Minister Al-Asfoor lauded the important role played by the Shura Council in serving the nation and the citizens, through enhancing cooperation between the executive and legislative branches.
He also highlighted the services delivered by the Social Development Ministry to various social segments in the fields of social development and protection for the benefit of the citizens.
The Shura member commended the efforts of the Social Development Ministry, stressing the importance of the development projects it is implementing in order to provide the best services to Bahraini individuals and families so as to ensure them the requirements of decent and secure living.
