SLRB Launches Fully Digitised Survey Office Selection Service

Manama: The Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) has introduced an upgraded digital service enabling property owners and their representatives to seamlessly obtain and compare quotations from licensed survey offices before selecting a provider. This enhancement aims to streamline procedures and improve access to surveying services.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the newly upgraded service is fully automated, reducing processing times from an average of four working days to instant online completion. The service now requires only three steps for an application, significantly improving service efficiency. The enhancement is anticipated to reduce service delivery times by at least 25%.

Bassem bin Yaqoub Al Hamer, President of SLRB, stated that this initiative highlights the bureau's dedication to advancing digital transformation, simplifying procedures, and delivering faster, more efficient services. These efforts are aimed at enhancing the customer experience and supporting the development of the real estate sector.

He further explained that the enhancement reinforces collaboration with survey offices and fosters a more effective and competitive service environment, thereby reducing the time and effort needed to complete transactions.

The bureau emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader government effort to modernize public services. Over 1,300 government services have been documented and published, including 800 that have undergone development and re-engineering across various government entities.
