Shura Chairman Highlights Royal Address on National Vision and Sovereignty

Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, stated that the address delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the Cabinet's regular meeting, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, outlines a national vision aimed at strengthening unity, enhancing social cohesion, and safeguarding Bahrain's sovereignty and achievements. The address also focuses on maintaining security, stability, and comprehensive development under His Majesty's leadership.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Chairman Al Saleh emphasized that the royal address conveys national messages reflecting His Majesty's approach to reinforcing loyalty and belonging to the nation. The address highlights the role of citizens as partners in nation-building and development, and it recognizes the contributions of citizens, institutions, and social actors in fostering national unity and cohesion between the leadership and the people.

The Chairman noted that the King's appreciation of Bahraini citizens and families signifies official recognition of their loyalty and belonging, which are central to the Kingdom's strength and resilience. The address also references the Bahrain Defence Force, the National Guard, and the Ministry of Interior, acknowledging their readiness, efficiency, and professionalism in addressing challenges.

Furthermore, Al Saleh highlighted the royal address's emphasis on protecting internal stability, safeguarding national security, and upholding the rule of law. This underscores His Majesty the King's commitment to maintaining stability and supporting legal measures against those who threaten national unity or state interests.

The address also outlined Bahrain's stance on Iranian attacks targeting development efforts in Bahrain and the region, reflecting the country's principles in defending its security and sovereignty. It emphasized the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial international maritime route for trade and energy security.

The Shura Chairman added that Bahrain's approach during recent regional developments reflects its commitment to promoting security and stability, prioritizing peace, harmony, and dialogue. He affirmed that Bahrain, under His Majesty's leadership, will continue to support Islamic causes and promote moderation, tolerance, and coexistence.

Lastly, Al Saleh mentioned the "document of thanks and loyalty" signed by His Majesty the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which recognizes national efforts and encourages continued support for unity, solidarity, and progress under His Majesty's leadership.
